To Apply to Grades PreK-5:

  1. Complete and return the Application for Admission form with a photo of the applicant, the non-refundable application fee, and the Student Health History form.
  2. Give the Teacher Recommendation form to your child’s current teacher; the form needs to be completed and returned by the current teacher.
  3. Fill out and submit the Authorization for Release of School Records to the applicant’s current school office; the school records need to be sent directly from the current school. For applicants to Pre-Kindergarten or Kindergarten, the Progress Report Form is required instead of the Release of School Records.
  4. Complete and return the Parent Statement form.
  5. Schedule a parent tour and a student visit. Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten applicants visit during small group sessions starting in December. Grade 1-5 applicants visit from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  6. Families interested in applying for financial aid for grades K-5 need to contact us by sending an email to financialaid@stevensonschool.org; once a formal application for admission is received, financial aid information will be sent to you from our Financial Aid Office.

To Apply to Grades 6-8:

  1. Complete and return the Application for Admission form with a photo of the applicant, the non-refundable application fee, and the Student Health History form.
  2. Give the Teacher Recommendation forms to your child’s current Language Arts and Math teachers; the two forms need to be completed and returned by the current language arts/English and math teachers.
  3. Fill out and submit the Authorization for Release of School Records to the applicant’s current school office; the school records need to be sent directly from the current school.
  4. Register the applicant to take the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) by visiting www.ssat.org. Stevenson’s school code is 6082.
  5. Complete and return the Parent Statement form.
  6. Schedule a parent interview and tour, and a student visit. Grade 6-8 applicants visit from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  7. Families interested in applying for financial aid need to contact us by sending an email to financialaid@stevensonschool.org; once a formal application for admission is received, financial aid information will be sent to you from our Financial Aid Office.
