Below is information you may find helpful as you plan your visit to Stevenson:

Travel Arrangements
Stevenson is only 10 minutes from the Monterey Peninsula Airport (MRY), which offers direct flights to Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Los Angeles-Ontario, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, San Diego, and San Francisco.

Families visiting Stevenson can also fly into San Jose Airport (SJC) (1.5 hours from Stevenson), or San Francisco Airport (SFO) (2.5 hours from Stevenson). If traveling from SJC or SFO you will need to rent a car, or you can ride the Monterey Salinas Airbus shuttle to the Peninsula.

Accommodations
Since the Monterey Peninsula is a popular vacation destination, the area has a variety of hotels, motels, and inns to fit any taste or budget.  All hotels located in Pebble Beach, Carmel, Pacific Grove, or Monterey provide easy access to the Stevenson campus and are within 15 minutes driving distance.  For assistance with lodging on the Monterey Peninsula, please visit the Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce.

Local Attractions
While visiting Stevenson, many families like to take advantage of all that the Monterey Peninsula has to offer. The area literally has something to offer for everyone-world class golf and dining, hiking, biking, and other outdoor opportunities, wine tasting, fishing and so much more. Weather
The climate on the Monterey Peninsula varies only slightly by season, with highs throughout the year between 55 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit.  Nights can be comfortably cool with lows usually between 45 and 55 degrees Fahrenheit.  Fall and Spring have plenty of sunshine and some fog and winter can bring extended periods of sunshine or rain.  For up to date weather, please visit www.weather.org.
