Specialty Courses

About the Specialty Classes

All students participate in our Specialty classes: art, dance, music, and physical education. The Specialty classes are an integral part of our curriculum, and are exceptionally strong programs that enhance the academic curriculum.

Fine Arts

The Fine Arts Program consists of three disciplines: art, dance, and music. Often times the three disciplines join together to showcase our students' talents. The Fine Arts Program provides a rich and engaging curriculum that encourages all of our Lower and Middle School students to challenge themselves - to look beyond their horizons, to develop new skills, to take risks, and to dream.

Physical Education

The Lower and Middle School Physical Education curriculum aims to promote lifetime health and fitness, and to provide students with the opportunity to develop positive self image and social skills. The program is designed to allow every student to succeed and feel good about their kinetic achievements.  Students also will gain a basic understanding of how and why the body works the way it does during exercise. Individual and group activities, both large and small, promote a fun, non-competitive, and educational environment. Students develop sportsmanship, teamwork, and social skills, and learn to follow rules.
